The Bowdoin community is to be commended for raising $293M during these difficult financial times and easily beating Bowdoin's $250M fund-raising target in the latest capital campaign, which concluded on June 30.

This is really kind of inspiring to me: to see such a sommunity effort. Most of the LACs have drastically reduced their output due to the financial crisis, but Bowdoin isn't compromising near as much.
