My supplemental essay is 1,962 characters so under the limit but 317 words long. Will that be an issue as it is recommended that it is 250 words or fewer in length?

(Sorry if this is a stupid questions I just don't want to make any mistakes...)

I had the same issue, just decided to make it under 250 words to be safer.

I mean, I don't think the adcoms do a word count but I guess it's better to be on the safe side...

Yeah, I doubt they do a word count. They might stop reading it if it seems too long. (?) Anyway, good luck with your decision (: I had a hard time shortening mine, myself.

It's three medium-to-large-sized paragraphs... Do you think they would stop reading after two?
