Waitlisted... when is it coming?

I applied for Blue Ribbon and got waitlisted...

I am still heavily considering Brandeis, but I don't know when they are going to let me know yes/no.

I got into URochester, UCSD, Bryn Mawr and other schools, but I am still waiting.

i can't say for sure for brandeis - you would have to check with their admissions office.

but often, schools don't accept students from the waiting list until they see how many of their admitted students have accepted - ie after tuition deposits are due (unless of course a lot of acceptees reject them before that date). yes this may mean that people on a waiting list often have to pay a tuition deposit elsewhere while they wait. and then not everyone may hear at once as they work their way through the waiting list to fill the openings the decide they have.

you may want to check with the admissions office if you want to know if it is possible that you might here earlier than that. and also to ask any questions about how their list works or if there is additional info you could send to improve your chances.

congratulations on your acceptances. good luck where ever you end up.
