Did anyone receive a "special invitation or "priority Application" from Brandeis?

I know they did this in previous years and there is no fee for using this applications so I am wondering if they are doing it again this year. Did anyone receive one yet? Thanks.

How are we going to receive this? Do we have to e-mail them or something?

I got a few of these emails from colleges where I am never going to apply. I think that it is just a trick to get more people to apply.

Well, it's to encourage students to consider a school that they might not otherwise consider, so yes it's "to get more people to apply."

I don't see how this constitutes a "trick." Schools that use this tool are generally pretty above-board about it and rarely represent it as something that it's not.
