The EE department at BYU seems to be growing

IEEE - Fellow Class of 2008

Two professors at BYU became IEEE fellow recently.

EE department at BYU is not famous yet but I think it is growing now.

i've lived in utah for a couple years, and personally, i find it quite amazing that such advanced research is being conducted at BYU - it's not exactly a world-class research/information center. but apparently it's getting there.

i read this article about BYU engineers, biologists, and chemists getting together to create extremely small microchips at the molecular level using microwires and DNA models. it's quite amazing. here's the link.
