| Lol. Um . . . yeah . . . let's put it this way, Utah Valley is basically Mormon Central, and Provo is the heart of Utah Valley. There is literally a church on every corner. At my high school there is a really really low percentage of potsmokers and non-virgins. And actually a lot of people in my senior class are "VL" (virgin lips, you'll need to know that if you come here). And politically, everything is very conservative. (Abortion is evil, so are Democrats, etc.) But still, honestly speaking, it's a really cool culture, just because the people are so much cleaner to be around. BYU's for you if you never want to be sexiled, and you just want to be around clean people. I've heard some people say the school has kind of a suppressive atmosphere, but also others say that it's a big enough campus that you can pretty much find everything. It's sort of true, the other night I met some kids from Arkansas, Alabama, and Florida, and another girl from Japan. |
