Honors Program and Limited Enrollment Majors??

Hello. i'm an incoming undergrad freshman. i really want to major in accounting.
i was wandering if there's any advantages of being in the honors program when trying to get accepted into the accounting program. i'm thinking of not doing the honors program because i feel that it would be best to focus my energies on select subjects (participate actively) and do what i want to really do with any spare time.

hmmm, any suggestions or opinions??

oh, and i'm going off on a tangent, but how do people view old posts for byu?

To view old posts, go to the bottom of the page. Selected view posts beginning from last year, from the start, or whatever you want. I can't answer your question because I don't know the answer. Sorry.

I recommend pursuing the honors program. Your goals may change between now and graduation. If they do, being in the honors program will help you regardless of the path you take. Even if you stick with your current goal and pursue accounting, being in the program will help you differentiate you application. Most accounting students come from BYU, but few pursue the honors program.
