likely letter?

what is that? is that where they send you a letter saying you have a good chance, orrr??

Ivies aren't allowed to tell you you're in until a Common Notification Date agreed upon by all Ivies. However, they send "likely letters", and use as little subtlety as is legal to let you know that you're in, they just can't "officially" say it yet.

ummm..hey does anyone here know about the fin aid usually provided by Brown...like does brown give out a fair amount of fin aid..or do u gotta pay urself thru brown U...wow ppl get likely letters?

Brown doesn't give out likely letters I believe.. neither does Harvard I believe..
I know that Dartmouth does.

Some ppl do, indeed, get likely letters from Brown. There are people on the main Brown board who have gotten them!
...Makes me feel sad and rejected, though hahaha. Oh well, life goes on.

oh thats what that letter was from dartmouth, i thought they were just trying to pacify me before rejection haha! i had no idea what these likely letters were.
