To Oblivion: I won't be able to tell you anything you probably don't know already, but there's no perfect "formula" to get into an ivy. Admissions is tricky like that. Enjoy your high school years and balance strong academics with equally strong extracurriculars (leadership positions and commitment through years of involvement). Stats, as superficial as they are, do matter to an extent. I haven't heard of anyone getting in with a 1300 SAT score. So, study for those tests! But let me reiterate the importance of doing things YOU want to do, not things you know will look "good" on college applications. Have fun, but don't pull your hair out. |
