Has anyone actually walked through the Rumford Bus Tunnel?

Walked through it. twas dark. Survived and lived to tell the tale. Not much else to it...

It's dark (and could have nasty things) and the buses go pretty fast through it so in theory could hit someone in it (and I think have in the past, esp someone drunk and did not get out of the way). Anyway illegal most of the time for those reasons. BUT, I have walked it, as rarely in a snow storm, when the buses couldn't run (nothing could) and the hill was dangerously slippery, it has been opened up for walking!

Haha did this in the 70's . At midnight, of course. It was a little spooky, but no humans or animals were harmed.
