Average GPA- Brown PLME applicant

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone knew the average GPA (weighted or unweighted) for accepted PLME applicants; I was unable to find any information on Brown's website, and wanted to see if anyone knew.

Thanks so much!

I doubt that statistic exists. High schools have widely varying GPAs. I've heard of schools on a 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0 scale, and some schools have number instead of letter grades (with GPAs like 95.526). Figuring out an average is impossible (Brown does not recalculate GPA for applying students).

What I can assure you is that the GPAs for accepted PLME students is very very high.

If the statistic even exists, which I doubt, it will probably never be made public, for the reasons fireandrain states.

I would expect that most accepted students into PLME received top grades in high school while taking a very rigorous schedule.

As above, there can't be realistic comparison's of GPA due to the different ways different schools grade, and report grades. However you can start from the fairly consistant statistics of the past few years regular undergraduate admissions: 91-96% are in the top 10% of their high school class. 38-47% (with the higher # this past year) are either valedictorian or salutatorian.
Does this follow then that the PLME accepted students are all going to be Val/sal of their class? Nope. I've seen about half of the students where I know the background, admitted to PLME not be V/S, (although I will admit they were all URM). I've also seen plenty of V/S not get into PLME, even with great scores, good EC's. (Most of those did get into Brown regular undergrad). I've also seen V/S not get into Brown plenty of times too.
