applying ED to Brown and EA/ED II at another school?

Sounds like a no-brainer - why would I apply ED to Brown and EA to another school?

But University of San Francisco, one of my safety schools, offers 20,000 dollars in scholarship money for each year to those who have above a 30 on the ACT and above a 3.8 GPA, both of which I have. The only way to get this money, however, is to apply by their Early Action date, which is November 15th. Would I be allowed to apply to Brown ED and also USF EA?

Also, if I were to apply to Brown ED and get rejected (knock on wood), would I be able to apply to another school such as Wesleyan or Middlebury in their ED II application? The deadline for those schools' ED II is January 1st, so it's after I would have heard back from Brown, but it is technically a version of Early Decision so I'm wondering if that's allowed or not.

Yes, you can apply to Brown ED and to other schools EA and rolling admission (as many as you want). However, if you get into Brown you are committed to attending (unless the financial aid is not sufficient).

If you are deferred or rejected, you can apply to ED II schools. Of course, if you get accepted ED II, then you have to withdraw your Brown application.

I believe you can, but it would be better to wait until you get the ED1 result, and then to submit the ED2 application. Personally speaking, I would do the same and choose Wesleyan for ED2.
