Should I submit the SAT or the ACT?

Both my SAT and ACT scores are fairly low for Brown standards, and I have yet to take the SAT subject tests (taking them in a few weeks, whoop), but based on the scores I have now, which would look better?

SAT: 2100 (610 Critical Reading (yikes!), 750 Math, 740 Writing)

ACT: 33 (36 English, 32 Math, 36 Reading, 29 Science) and I took the writing part but the score isn't available yet.

I'm taking the US History, Literature, and Spanish subject tests in October, but as of now, which score would look better? Thank you(:

Brown will use your best scores when you submit them, so you don't have to not send in a certain exam.
If you insist on only sending one, I'd go with the ACT score. You have really good scores in the core reas and a 36 in English/Reading will look much better than a 610/740.

Also, your scores aren't "fairly low" for Brown students. A 33 is a very respectable score and it tends to be in the range of scores most students mention when talking about testing here on campus. Once you're in the score range, it's up to the rest of your application to stand out and picking between minute differences in scores becomes less important.

Compared to other universities, Brown has a very high GPA-to-standardized test score ratio, i.e. the typical admit at Brown has, like, a 3.95 unweighted GPA but only a 31-32 on the ACT. Your scores should be fine.
