It seems like online coupons are available for a limited duration - the latest will expire on 2 August. Is it possible for me to order my Dell labtop online now with the current coupon and have it shipped to Brown on 28 Aug? If I only order my labtop later, will there be other coupons available then?

I realised that there aren't any coupons for Latitude D620 and Latitude X1?? Is it realistic to wait for coupons for these latitude lines - will Dell ever give coupons for these rather top-end lines?
I can't seem to find any delivery option where I can place my order now and have Dell deliver it to Brown on 28 Aug. Should I contact Dell in this case?

Relax, first off, you don't want you laptop to just "show up" and then have to deal wiht any problems once school's already started and you're there. I'd definitely suggest getting it a solid two weeks before school and using it before then regularly as well to learn the ins and outs and sniff out any issues you may have. Second, I haveno idea how often the Dell Coupons refresh, I just know that there are CONSTANTLY different coupons for their products and various lines. I don't buy Dell, I happen to hate their products since the Pentium 4 came out.

I would love to get my labtop earlier, but I'm flying to the US with loads of luggage , so I'm hoping that having my labtop delivered to Brown will reduce my load somewhat. If I'm buying a Dell labtop from home, I won't be able to get those discounts which are only applicable to the US Dell website as I have to buy it from my home country's website.

Im definitely going with the Macbook with the intel. Oh, and thanks for the very intelligent comment above me of "if you want windows, you'd be wasting your money on a mac." Thanks, chief. Anyway, yeah, my sister has managed to spyware and s h itify every computer we have, and she hasnt messed up her macbook in a year. it runs fine, and I personally love it. Dells, midrange windows stuf....ehh...go with the macbook, you wont be let down.
