Your 8th grade SAT scores are really good for that age group. Those stats are also fantastic for a freshman, and um, wow you have a published book in the works...

The SAT IIs you should take are the classes you've just completed. If you're planning to go into law I'd probably say take one that's history related, but you should look at all the schools you're considering and see which ones they recommend. It's a little early for you to take them, though.

I think if you stay on the path you are on you are an likely at most Ivies and I am genuinely impressed with those scores coming from an 8th grader. They are going to rise a lot by junior year.

okay but do you think tht as far as ECs are concerned i need a bit more passion...ie. focussed attention.

My main EC id say is Karate but I don have enough time 4 it nowadays (practice etc.)

But Im really passionate about writing and speaking.
Can u recommend some stuff that I should do to show that im passionate about it.

You're posting too early... I've never even seen people post their talent search/GT/whatever SAT scores from 8th grade here (not that I ever look at chances threads).

If its any help, I got similar scores in 8th grade (a little higher, actually, but whatever), and I got in. Of course, that means absolutely nothing... like anything anyone else is gonna tell you here. Sorry, I have to post at least one obligatory chances-threads-are-dumber-than-Paris-Hilton reply a year.
