Brown and Number of SAT sittings

is there a number brown likes to see, although 3 is the maximum allowed, lots of people tell me its bad to take it three times. The worst part for me is the CR, and i only increased by 20 pts, bringing me to a 630...=(((...so retake for a third time?

Every time you take it, the score will be added to your SAT score report and cannot be removed. Same with SAT IIs. So if you plan on sending in that score report (which you need to), they'll see what you got every time you take it and how many times you tested.

Does Brown pick the highest scores from a test date or the combination of the scores from a different date?

It uses the highest scores from all your test dates.

Does it look bad if my last test score (the third time) is even worse than the second test score that I have?

They mix top scores for the SAT, but not for the ACT, if you are interested.
