*Course load: medium-hard. taking all the hardest humanities but staying away from AP math/science stuff. generally all honors
*Other Stats: AP US: 5, AP Stats: 5
Subjective:
*Essays: I think quite good
*Teacher Recommendations: didn't read them but one said "after reading this they've gotta accept you" (obviously he was wrong but it's the thought that counts right?)
*Counselor Review: didn't read it; she doesn't know me at all so i'm guessing she copied my self-evaluation word for word
*Interview: fine, we got along well and just talked
*Hook: I wrote my essay on being a feminist? If that's one.... Took a college course at Ithaca College over the summer and got an A (although it was in Musical Theater so I don't know how much that helped) I really want to go!!! (if only that was a hook...)

*Work experience: 2 years part time at ice cream parlor (0-10 hrs/week during school year, ~30 hrs/week during summers)
Location/Personal:
NY, USA
*School type: good public school

*Gender: Female
*Income bracket: upper-middle class (at least in my town. although if we lived in a city it'd be more lower-middle class. I think. hmmm)
*Financial Aid: yes
*Intended Major: undecided - I said International Relations or Modern Culture (whatever it's called...blanking at the moment)
*Other Factors: Aaaah I wanted to go to Brown! *tear* |

| what do you think is the point of deferring so many people? i don't understand it. it seems like it's a waste of time to not outright regect more of us...but then again, that observation is based soley off of this forum, and most regected people probably wouldn't post....very frustrating. I just don't understand it. |
