I decided to apply to Brown about three weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad and I'm VERY EXCITED!! I love Brown.

Accepted!

Thoughts on my Chances?

ILikeDice, in answer to your question of weeks ago – OMG YES; I’m like totally a philosopher and, yes, we belong to a rare and swiftly diminishing breed. You realize, of course, the fear and hatred our weltanschauung instills in other people, and that the philosopher, by virtue of his profession, will always remain in exile outside of the city (i.e., I’m happy to have met you, too). With that said, I recall your stated interest in Nihilism. Camus is one my favorite authors/thinkers, however my current likes are symbolic logic, linguistics, and other areas of analytic philosophy. I reject Ayn Rand, New Age spiritualism, pragmatism, psychology, and the myriad other intellectual abortions which color our daily lives.

Forgive my late reply,

Isabella.
