| Can I title my personal statement? My personal statement looks more like a story than an essay. And a critical component is the title..the essay would lose a bit of its sense and meaning if the title is not placed.
So, can I title my personal statement? Has anyone done it before? and got in?
Thanks |

| if you upload the document, it becomes a pdf of what your microsoft word document looks like
if you put a title in your word document and upload it, it will have a title in the pdf |

| I did not title mine. A title would have been fine for my topic, but at the same time, it was pretty self-explanatory.
I don't see why you can't title it. Don't sweat the small stuff. If it adds a creative element, just put it in. Brown is pretty chill with what ever format you use, seeing as the topic is *very* open ended.

| Yes, you can put a title on any of your college essays. My daughter did (she is now a senior at Brown) and many of my clients do too. Some do, some don't. It certainly is allowed. Sometimes, a title can grab attention and intrigue and get someone to want to read more. It is not necessary but can work well in some cases. |

| Obviously negru is the most talented kid out there.
I suggest you read the first post. And maybe its my fault.
I think I should have asked "Should I title my personal statement?" for ppl like negru to understand the meaning. |

| For the Personal Statement, I uploaded a Word document. I put both my essays on a single document, one on the first page and one on the second. |
