| Brown made a boo boo Has anyone else noticed that Brown misspelled the major "commerce organizations and entrepreneurship" (as "entreprepeneurship") on their application? It's pretty hilarious. I kind of lost respect for them. |

| You lost respect for Brown for a typo?
I've seen typos on official documents at all levels. It happens. |

| Hmm. I didn't know that. I thought my hopes for getting accepted were lost because I mis-typed my ACT English/Writing combined score as a 33 rather than a 32. Guess they don't have grounds for rejecting me because of that now do they, considering the fact that they made a bigger mistake themselves? lol. Good. |

| A single typo is never going to be a deal breaker for admissions.
Did you honestly expect that Brown, run by humans, would never have typos, though? |

| Considering they put "entrepeneurship", and not "entreprepeneurship", as you said, you made a typo yourself.
lol? It's not a big deal, I don't hate you for it. Why hate them? |

| I'm glad you don't hate me (above).
I never said I HATED Brown. After all, I AM applying there. I just hadn't seen a mistake like that before on any of my other applications, so it caught me off-guard. I recognize that they are humans, but they're a group of humans that represent a renowned university. In all truth, there's a difference between my making a mistake and their making a mistake.
Nevertheless, I still LIKE Brown, and I certainly don't hold a GRUDGE against them. And I apologize for and DETRACT the "loss of respect" statement. That was a little histrionic/hyperbolic on my part.
*Cough* Anyways... |

| Cornell and Brown did not make these mistakes. People working there did. I'm sure as students we'd all prefer if colleges spent money on us rather than world class secretaries. |

| It's kind of nice, shows that they're human and also make mistakes. Yeah I noticed a typo for the Part I introduction I think, but didn't pay too much attention to it because I was making sure that MY essays didn't have any typos. xD |

| O and I realized I made another typo even though my dad and everyone looked over my application. Apparently I think unparalleled is spelled unparalled. Wow, this is super ironic and kind of funny in a sick and twisted way!!!! This is pretty much the best thread ever, people!!!! |
