Website wouldn't let me submit!

At 11:56 PM, the website told me the submission deadline had passed and wouldn't let me submit my application. Did anyone else experience this? Any ideas on what I should do? I just emailed the admissions office with a screenshot showing the message and my computer time, that shows it was before the deadline that I submitted.

The deadline is on 1145, not 0000.

My computer crashed at 1143. I sent them an email, too.

YA I didn't realize the deadline was 0000 either.
I attempted to submit at 1150
It was because commonapp was being stupid too and I was concentrating on that the whole time without realizing Brown's was 1145.
I emailed them too.
Do you think they will cut us some slack? Or just hate us for being procrastinators...

I did the same. I was having difficulties with my internet connection for a number of hours. When my connection finally started working regularly, it was 11:47... TWO minutes too late

so I emailed the admissions office, attaching my online app (I scanned the printed version), and tomorrow morning, I'm going to Fedex it as well as a paper-version form that I filled out. As you can tell... I'm kinda upset with this whole thing and I'm doing everything possible.

But what do you think the chances are that they will actually accept our applications for review?

I'm so worried.

I have had the same problem except I live on the west coast and it was 8:59pm when i tried to submit my application! Where did they say the we had to abide by the 11:45 due date EAST COAST time! BTW i emailed them too.............they better fix this................I don't think i should be punished just because i was meticulously going over my application......

This is going to sound harsh, kids, and I don't mean to be as mean as this may sound, so please take this for fact, not criticism or judgment. You were late. It's a good lesson. Try to learn to do things in a more timely manner. If Brown doesn't accept the apps at this point, it's because they are late. Move on. I am very sorry to give you this reality check.

I would be surprised if they don't accept your late apps, but I'm curious to see for sure too.

if they decided to be wonderful, and accept them, how would they actually receive it? If the website blocks us from submitting it. I'm fedexing it today.. I hope that's alright.

I submitted 20 seconds too late last night.
I just emailed the office...what do you think? Do I have a chance?

yes you do! you can submit it now. the woman i spoke to said that the website will allow submissions until 12 tonight

Thankfully, they let me submit! They emailed me back with a message saying that it will be available until 1/3/08 (though I don't know if this is the case for everyone else).
