Brown/RISD dual degree program

Do you think that the people applying to the program will be put into a separate pile for review to each institution? I hope the fact that I checked the box for the dual degree program will create more of an "in" but I'm not sure. Do you think they will review our applications with a different approach?

The RISD connection along with our strong visual arts would have been a better idea, IMO, simply because the way the program works is they're considering you like any other Brown applicant, and RISD is considering you as any other RISD applicant. Only when your accepted in both schools through their normal means completely separately do the two schools look at you together and coordinate at all.
