Does Brown contact you for interviews?

I'm an international student, so will I be granted an interview if I want one? If not, who should I speak to about this?

An alumni will contact you for an interview. I'm not sure how it works for international students, but there are alumni who live overseas and do interviews. It might have to be by phone. If you don't hear anything by early February, e-mail or call admissions. The interview write-ups are due on March 1, so there's plenty of time still. And if you don't have an interview, it won't adversely affect your admissions chances.

If they think it is necessary / helpful to interview you and it is possible, they will contact you. I am an international student myself and I have been contacted by an alumni already one day after I submitted my application. However, if you do not get contacted, don't worry. It probably just means that there is no alumni living close to you.

For PLME applicants: do we only have one interview for Brown and PLME... or are there two separate ones(if so, kill me now!)...?

I am also international and I had my interview around the end of Nov.
it was a phone interview, I had to choose between the phone or Skype... and I had some problems with my PC. 8-|

....and it all went great :x I simply love interviews !

Thanks! I just sent in my applications a few days ago so I suppose it will take a while for them to contact me.

I'm sure there are Brown alumni near me, it's just a matter of time.

they contacted me about a month after i submitted part I. so, you'll probably be waiting a while.

I'm from Singapore, and I got a call last week... a few days after I submitted part II but 3 weeks after part I. My interview is tomorrow!
