Brown was the speediest school in getting back to me on whether they'd received my application materials. They sent me a letter, I logged on with the ID, and there it was, that beautiful page... with everything ticked, everything received.

The room went dim and a bright light shone down onto my screen while Hallelujah music played out of nowhere.

(So far, out of 10 schools, only 3 have received everything: Yale, Brown and Duke. But then again, Yale was SCEA.)

If it helps, I submitted my app Dec 19 and got the letter Jan 16.

I still haven't gotten my info, but I emailed the brown admissions office and they said that it should be coming soon. They also mentioned there has been a delay because of the surplus of applications.

So I guess those of us who haven't heard with our BUIDs and passwords need to be patient. Gah.

I lost my ID/password... Think Brown knows and will automatically throw my app away? =)

If you have rec'd your password and ID but can't get them to work, it may be because you participated in a Summer at Brown program (and so have a previous acct with Brown) and you'll need to call to get a new password sent. Happened to my son, and he called and rec'd new password by email. Now that he can see his list, one doc is listed as missing that he knows was sent, but he will wait until Feb as suggested before calling back.

I would say now would probably be a good time to give a call! The folks who answer phones at the offices at Brown have been very nice and helpful. Since you have been waiting more than a month, you have a good reason to call, Pi!

I<3Pi, it would be great if you could post the outcome of your phone call. I'm worried too.

I called the other day and they told me I should get it by the 29th.
It is now the 30th and I haven't gotten it.

I plan on calling tomorrow. God I hope it's not messed up.

To anyone who hasn't gotten their BUID/password - call the admissions office and they will provide you with it.

I called today, and they were helpful.

The midyear reported isn't listed among my application requirements recieved. It was sent a couple of weeks ago. Should I be worried?

It seems like they're really backed up now...and when they're missing something, they send you a letter asking for it, including an envelope to send it back. At least, that's what they did for me when my second teacher rec wasn't received as of the end of January.

I wouldn't be that worried! If it makes you feel any better, I actually sent my part 2 application in late. Not sure how that would console you, but they still accepted it more than 10 days after the due date, and they contacted me for an interview that I had yesterday!
