Greek (real Greek) Community

How is the authentic Greek community at Brown?

theU college profiles are often inaccurate and are largely based on school stereotypes (all you need to do is watch a few of them to figure it out).

the greek scene is present but not dominant (like at say, dartmouth).

this is probably the best source of info

Guys, when he says authentic/real I think he means international students from Greece.

I know two, and they typically hang out with the general European crowd/international crowd at Buxton International House.

I'm not sure if there are enough Greeks to create a separate community.

haha yes modestmelody, i mean authentic, from the old country! thanks for the help, i just was wondering if there is a decent amount of Greek people at Brown

i am pretty sure there is a huge great community right outside Philadelphia, by UPenn, but that's the closest one to Brown I know of

you are greek? im half
when i visited with my dad who is from greece we saw/heard at least 3 different times people speaking greek. it was really weird they were everywhere that day. i think there is also a greek club, at least there was when my dad went there (he's an alum). he told me he was a founding member of it like back in the 70s haha i dont know about that though.
