First of all, there is no pre med major at Brown or at most other schools. Brown does have PLME, Program in Liberal Medical Education which guarantees you admission to their medical school when you apply as a freshman. Admissions rate to PLME is approx. 5% which is significantly lower than admissions to Brown as a whole which was 14% for the class of 2011 but may be lower for class of 2012 since there were a record number of applicants this year.
