I can't believe I just realized I don't have the right PIN number I never got the letter with the new PIN number (the non-online account one) and was too superstitious/dumb to pay close attention to their email.

Does anyone know how long it'll take to get the letter ?

sorry for the triple post, but this may be my last hope:

on the account, when you view your applicant info, there's a slot for admission decision: (Currently unavailable)-- will you be able to access your decision this way??

i'm in the same situation! i didn't know they were referring to a new login/password in the email where are you viewing your applicant info right now?

no where unfortunately, but using the old email account, and if you click the applicant info tab there's a decision section-- but i doubt that's the one being updated

That is the one being updated. I am an ED applicant and I was admitted to brown and the tab i checked also said Admission Decision: Currently Available...it gets updated and Brown is VERY punctual about it. It said 5 pm for me Dec 13th and it was updated about 5:02. I hope that helps and good luck. I'm still waiting for PLME but I doubt i will get in.

just to b clear-- the tab is student and financial aid, then u click fall 2008:

and it says:

Application Data

Application Term: Fall 2008
Decision: Admission decisions are currently not available.

?

I thought your username and password are the ones you use to access your current brown account(with the financial aid and application materials status), though the password is different since you have to change it once you activated your account.

Well, try to use that info to log in on Monday and see if that works.

LOL, I don't think we are talking about the same thing anymore. That is the email containing the username and password for your online application, but not for your brown account which shows your application status.
Have your never received a letter that gives you instructions to activate your applicant account at activate.brown.edu?
Before I assumed you did since you wrote above that you were able to access the following:

Application Term: Fall 2008
Decision: Admission decisions are currently not available.

It is the Brown account which will show the decision. It is the admission tab in the my account area. It says "Decision: Admission decisions are currently not available." up until decision time. At that time, a button will appear next to the decision section. When you click the button, the decision appears. I was ED and this is how it worked for me.
