Really??

Ive HEARD so many times that Goldman Sachs recruits 30+ from Brown every year and that Brown students are recruited heavily by many other big IBanks....does anyone have any stats/a reliable source for this info??

All I can tell you is that way too many of my friends who are graduating are going into IB land. I think GS does like Brown but it doesn't hurt that the President is on the GS board either. Career services does a very good job for you if you are interested in IB. Less so if not.

in some ways, jobs in banking and management consulting are the most straightforward to get because they conveniently recruit on campus, have a formal recruiting process, and take a requisite number of brown students every year. the harder jobs are those that require connections and are generally more esoteric
