| I chose Brown over ... Now that decisions are in, I would be curious to learn of the other schools in the decision set of those who have elected to attend Brown.
Conversely, if you did not chose Brown, where are you going in the fall? |

| My son chose Brown over Dartmouth, Carleton, Reed, Kenyon, Tufts and Williams. The Brown-Dartmouth thing was hard; but he had that gut feeling of "I belong here" when he visited Brown. |

| I chose Brown over Dartmouth, Northwestern, Johns Hopkins, UCLA, and Berkeley. The toughest one to turn down was Dartmouth. |

| Turned down USC, Berkeley, Vanderbilt, Emory, WUStL, UChicago, Duke, MIT, and perhaps the one with the most agonizing moment of indecision at the post office, Harvard.
Gotta love the open curriculum, proximity to RISD, and PLME. |

| Early Decision is amazing.
Kudos to everyone here. I especially love Temeraire for choosing Brown over Harvard. There should have never been any doubt :P |

| I choose Brown over Macalester, American, Northeastern, and U of Oregon Honors. After fin. aid, Northeastern and American were out. There was no way in hell I'd go to Oregon (I know, I know, a safety isn't a safety unless you actually want to go there). So basically it was between Mac and Brown. I got into Mac first and was sure I was going and would have been happy doing so, but once I got my Brown acceptance on the 31st, do you really think I was gonna go to Mac??? Heeeellllllll Nah!!!!!! So yeah, that's my little story. |
