Sexycani- CCers don't rep the normal Brown population. That score is WELLLL into their average range. Its almost at the top of the middle actually. If you don't get in, it will NOT be because of your SATs so dont worry
It could be worse! You could be me, trying to get in with a 1910 haha!

lol yeah the ED decision thread from last year had a lot of more acceptances than deferrals and rejections

yeah its very true. i get so freaked out looking at these threads but i really have to tell myself that the majority of the people on cc are above average

Unfortunately i'm assuming that people who are rejected are less likely to come on cc to post their stats than those who are accepted, so the Results threads probably paint a somewhat generous picture of decisions... which is crazy because they already look.. well.. anything BUT generous.

Yeah the ED results thread is biased since posting is voluntary and it would attract people who were accepted. But it freaks me out anyways.

The people on CC are really dedicated to brown and the whole college thing so it's usually the better applicants

alot of ppl were deffered last year
this year theyre gonna be trigger happy with the acceptances ( i hope)

good luck guys...this site depresses me someetimes but its awesome knoing were all bound by brown

Haha...we sold our souls to the best college ever!

I'll definitely post mine whether I get rejected or not, but let's all hope for the best! I would agree that people on this site are generally more excited/obsessed/knowledgeable about the schools they're aspiring to, so maybe that's another reason for the phenomenon too.
