i was supposed to call an alumni today about 4opm

but i forgot......i know this sounds really bad but omg what am i gonna do??

i have competition on saturday so i was completely into preparing for it
and i also missed school b/c i was sick and slept through half a day

and then i woke up around 3:00 pm
and forgot about the interview till right now

i should i do???
wow i can't believe this
i'm really disappointed in myself and i don't know what to say to the alumni
should i email and apologize and schedule antoher interview??

it's a phone interview btw
he said he's fine till saturday and i said i am too
and then he set the time today...

i feel really bad what should i do
i hope he doen't think i don't care about this interview or brown
because i do care and brown is my top chioce
i cant believe what i just did!!!!!!

Jeez... relax, it's not even close to the end of the world. Call him and tell him you were sick. Don't come off as hysterical. He'll understand.

It's definitely not the end of the world. Call him and apologize (possibly with the excuse Roberto had) and ask if you can arrange for another time to interview. And if you don't an interview, it's not the end of the world. Interviews don't count for that much anyways.

I would suggest that you apologize, but tell the truth. You should always tell the truth. You are not the first person who slept through something pretty important. The interviewer will understand, and will probably laugh about it. But if you ignore it, you are being rude, and you are probably not a rude person. If you lie about it, you are making a double mistake. No need for that.

I had a student forget the interview. And I had to call him to find out what happened. He was very apologetic; the second meeting was successful. I didn't hold the first miss against him.

The problem you have now is that you are running out of time. I suggest calling him ASAP.

Also, as you might have heard by reading these boards, the interview at brown isn't really emphasized much anyway.
