Where are you from, tetris?

I'm applying to UPitt as soon as I get my ACT scores in. I actually really like it there (not as much as Brown, obviously. ) I hang out in Oakland on their main campus all the time. : ]

Hey guys,
We should all post our stats. Here's an example from the thread for last year's ED applicants.

Stats:
SAT: 2300 (780 CR 720 M 800 W)
SAT IIs: 700 Biology M 740 Literature
GPA: 3.97
Rank: my school doesn't rank
Other stats: None that I can think of...
Subjective:
Essays: Worked hard, but I had two typos! Fail. But they were awesome.
Teacher Recs: One was fantastic, don't know about the other.
Counselor Rec: Don't know
Hook (if any): Two published novels (yeah, I'm that girl)
Location/Person:
State or Country: Maryland
School Type: Small non-religious private
Ethnicity: white half-Jew
Gender: I am a chica
Other Factors: not a one
General Comments: holy crap

Only two published novels? Please. lol lol!

umich is definitely a good school. i'd really like to go to the med school there though. its much harder if you get your undergrad degree there

id rather not post stats. i can't see how that will help my situation anymore. i'm already stressing looking at last years stats!

No, but I'm fairly confident that this year's nanowrimo novel will go on to become a New York Times bestseller. : ]

I wrote for my community's newspaper for almost two years; does that count? And I was featured in a national equestrian magazine.

I am! That's my hook essentially. I write for town publications, smaller national publications, go to writing conferences, and have some poetry published. *shurg* Don't think it's enough to get me in, but hopefully it helps distinguish me a tad.
