Brown Transfer Thread 2010.

I have alot of questions regarding trasferring to Brown in fall 2010.

First, I'd like to know if I have any chance at all.

I'm a California Community College student and looking to transfer as an incoming junior.
I have a 3.77 GPA and am a Psych major.
I have 120 volunteer hours this year working with the elderly, and another 25 hours working with kids.
I've worked 3 part-time jobs over the past year, the most notable of which being a shipment manager at a publishing company.

I was a terrible student in high school and never took the SAT (Do I need an SAT score to transfer to Brown?). My grades have had an excellent upward trend, culminating with a 4.0 in 18 units last semester (6 classes).

If I have very little or no chance, I'll understand. I am applying to most of the UC's, and I love it here in California, so I won't be really disappointed.

Please let me know if I have much of a shot. Thanks guys.

Ya know, there's actually a Brown transfer thread in the transfer forum, but I guess it doesn't hurt to have one here too. You would have a good chance if you don't need any financial aid and you wrote a killer essay.

Honestly, it's hard as heck to get into though. Just apply and don't waste too much time thinking about chances.
