From a Southern state
SAT: 660M 560CR 610W
SATII: 750 590
GPA: 3.4 UW/3.6 W (up to 11th) All honors, two APs
Senior yr schedule: 5 APs, rest honors
Great Recs
Great essay (about coming to the U.S. several years ago and overcoming language barriers and such)
Ok ECs (music, community service, tutoring-job, one varsity sports)
Visited the campus (beautiful campus!)/ Had a decent interview on-campus


What do you think...? x(

Hope you make it. Did you apply ED to BMC? Don't forget Mt Holyoke, chances might be a little better there. 1/3 chance for you RD at BMC, 1/2 chance at MHC. Good luck.

On collegeboard, it says that the most important factors are recommendations and the rigor of secondary school record (and academic GPA i think)...is this true? Or, do they put more weight on numbers like the SAT scores?
