| Actually, Scripps stats are higher then Bryn Mawr's (both higher SATs and gpas). ; )
Bryn Mawr is higher then Smith, though. You live in LA County and Scripps is in LA County. That could be the difference between getting into one and not the other.

| The financial aid came with the admission packet. Maybe you should call and ask if you didn't get yours. |

| haha, your username is very misleading, rachel. lol yea i love gossip girl!!!
but yea, my admission package says "While we will determine your eligibility as soon as your file is complete, we must caution you that financial aid funds are limited." does that mean they are hinting that im going to get less money than if i had turned it in on time? |

| Diane - I was in the same position last year... got into Bryn Mawr, but not Scripps even though I lived 45 minutes away (also in LA county - San Fernando Valley). It ended up being a good thing though, since my parents would have been less likely to approve of my decision to attend Bryn Mawr if I'd had the option to go to a "similar" college (to them... to me, there was a big difference, though I liked Scripps, too) closer to home.
If you end up deciding to attend (or are still trying to decide) and have any questions about making the move, let me know! |

| So far, I have one rejection, two waitlists, four acceptances and one and a half still pending! Bryn Mawr is in the lead!
I seriously love Bryn Mawr and even if I was accepted to the two that waitlisted me (Colgate and Grinnell) I would have gone to BMC anyway. Hurrah for my decisions becoming easier!
I'm super excited... And I found out an aunt of mine that lives in Philly would help me out a bit financially if I end up at Bryn Mawr, so that is really good news too. |
