I was just curious what would happen if Bryn Mawr's yield was crazy high. I mean, don't they usually accept way more people than there are spots? What if all those people decide to go?

when I can't sleep so I come up with these weird scenarios and ponder them for hours...so I'm posting it on here since you guys are more likely to come up with an answer than I will!

I read somewhere that some other schools just made people share rooms with more people. I can't decide between Bryn Mawr or Mount Holyoke or the waitlist at Wellesley. I haven't visited any of them! Can you help???

^ If you live in the US you should definitely try an visit at least one of them (preferably all of them). It would be easier then to choose. Regarding the waitlist at Wellesley - you need to settle for one of those two (sending the deposit) because u'll never know how the waiting on the.. waiting list (:P) will end up. Then, if you get in at Wellesley, and you prefer it, you should move the deposit at WC.

Usually colleges prefer to err on the side of safety when it comes to yield rates - that's what wait lists are for

stinkyrat- it would be wise to visit b/c that's how I instantly crossed Wellesley off my list in a heartbeat...I hated it!! The girls were so prissy, and the campus was creepy...really weird...I haven't visited Bryn Mawr but I will on Mosaic & Open Campus days, but visit visit visit, lol. Once you get the vibe of the campus, ull know if you're meant to be there or not
