The papers I got after submitting my deposit were health forms, a housing sign-up form, visa documents (I am an international student), etc. The e-mails I got were about academic requirements, placement exams, meal plans.... Since you are deferring, it seems like you would not need any of these information until a year from now, and that's why Bryn Mawr might not include you in any of the mailings that will go out in the upcoming months. It might actually be better for you not to read the current information because the policies change a little bit every year and you don't want to start college with outdated information a year from now.
But I do understand how exciting and stressful the entire college admission process was and how anxious you must be to hear from Bryn Mawr now that you have decided to attend. If you contact the admission office, they can add you to the mailing list for a college newsletter or put you in touch with a current student.
