| Yea, well BU uses pony express in PA. And my nag threw a shoe, it seems. btw, raidernation, what's plan B? I'm not sure, but it could be your screen name that got you waitlisted in Stiller country. there is no real raider nation beyond Al Davis egoed mind. good luck
molly, it seems it was. watching this stuff, I'm convinced that Princeton Review and College Board don't have much of a clue beyond gross generalizations when they talk about hi reaches, low reaches, etc. ususally the safes are safe bets but after that ... |

| I doubt it was because I am a Raider fan, although I am looking foward to next season with JaMarcus Russell at the helm. I'm really not too surprised of the waitlist however, it seems Bucknell takes a lagre crop of its students from the Mid-Atlantic and I am left here fending for myself. Before I got my acceptance letter, I realized how foolish applying to Bucknell became in an economical sense. Yes, my family makes more than enough to send me to Bucknell w/o merit aid but in order to get to Lewisburg, PA from Miami, FL it is a heck of a voyage. I would have to fly to either Philadelphia or Harrisburg. If I fly into Philadelphia, I would have to take a small-charter plane to Williamsport, PA then drive 45 min. If I fly directly into Harrisburg, PA, I am looking at a 1 hr, 25 min drive thereafter. Either or, it will be a 6-7 trip whenever I go home. That's insane. Essentially, you mite as well put me in Northwest Washington because the travel time will be the same. Secondly, I realized I made a major mistake when I applied to the Management Program. While I had decent stats mid 1300's/1600, I was a boy amongst men. I believe my essays/reccomendations/talent/ability were all there, its just I had a relatively low GPA (around a 3.65 UW, 3.89 W) and I did awful on my SAT 2's. Bucknell would probably be an awesome college to attend, I just don't think coming from South Florida, it would be the best option for me. As of my future endeavors, I am considering: UF, UMich, GW, Tulane, and UMaryland. |
