Social Life for Freshman

I really want to go to Bucknell... but from some of the threads i've skimmed i'm kinda worried about the social life. What do average freshman guys do for fun? What is there to do... an average weekend?

Any insight on this topic would be appreciated! Thanks!

I'm currently a freshman at Bucknell and, although I'm female, there is plenty to do. Yes, it is difficult for guys to get into frats, but if you just wait in line for a little bit, go out of your way to make upperclassmen friends, and be patient, it really isn't a problem. The guys definitely let up as the year goes on, and there are frats that are more tolerable of freshman guys than others. Also, there are always parties in the dorms, which are fun as long as you're careful. I really wouldn't worry about the social scene -- my guy friends have never been bored.
