how to reply to offer of admission?

I was admitted to Bucknell but just recently decided it wasn't the place for me, but in the folder sent there was no slip with which to inform them of my decision. Should I write them? What's the norm for this?
Thanks!

If you don't plan on enrolling, then simply don't send them the $500 deposit.

Be courteous - send an e-mail. The sooner they know who is coming and who isn't, the sooner they can address the waitlist students.

Not to interfere with the thread, but I'm turning down Bucknell's offer, too. Hopefully, it'll open a spot for one of you. I'm on Vassar's waitlist, so I understand what everyone's going through.

For now, I'm taking USC's offer.
