The most recent update I am aware of pointed to an answer of No, Unfortunately. Hopefully they do pull people off the waitlist this year but judging by recent history, it seems like it would be a near miracle. Don't take this in concrete, but I remember reading somewhere on here that even when they pull ANYONE off of the waitlist, the percentage is disgustingly low (under 5%). I am pulling for you guys who are on.

Oh, Ambrose1214, I hope you're mistaken this year. I hope they take me and also BucknellHopeful. With a user name like that, it would be awful if they didn't accept him too!

Count me in as another hoping the call comes to get off the waitlist!....

I think this week and next are the time when it would happen, if it does, after deposits are in and they know their yeild numbers. Like their waitlist letter instructed, we all have to move on with our plans to attend other schools, but we can still hope for the cell to ring! I like to think that I did everything possbile to increase my chances, and now it is out of my hands.

I received a call around 4. They gave me 24 hrs to reply their offer. Good luck to you all.

I'M OFF THE WAITLIST AND INTO BUCKNELL! I recieved a phone call as well! While it is very exciting, I have already accepted a place at Dickinson College and I'm super excited about it. I am in the process of emailing my reply now. I hope my declination opens a spot to one of yall! Good luck!

I suggest you call Admissions office and ask them your WL status. I called last week and told them I am still commit to attend Bucknell. Good luck!

I got off the waiting list on Monday. I resent my updated resume and a letter attached, last Thursday. I would suggest doing that because it makes your admission counselor open up your file and look at your credentials again. I am from Texas as well, and they probably are not sure if someone from Texas would want to come all the way to Pennsylvania, so I would suggest reaffirming your interest.

Thanks for the tips, y'all. I sent them a copy of my third quarter grades and a letter from our band director. I've been emailing the Bucknell pep band director since winter (maybe February?), who said he'd walk my items over to Admissions personally. Sure hope there's a phone call/email tomorrow! Son got a call yesterday offering admission. He was told he had to reply within 24 hours, has already accepted at another very good school and will be making a tough decision today.

I'm still waiting here! i haven't gotten anything. no phone call, no email, nothing, nadda, zip, zero. AND it's killing me.

well i guess no news is good news...??
