Chances for another White male from CT

Hi everyone
I have a 3.3 weighted GPA with a 1350/2000 (670 Reading, 680 Math, 650 Writing) on the SATs. I am going to be a senior this year and by the time I am done with school i will have taken 4 AP classes (world, environmental, econ, calculus AB). I will have a minimum of a 4 on every AP test. I have also taken 5 honors classes including Latin honors for the past three years and US Honors.
I didnt do so well freshman and sophomore year but I finished with a 3.8 junior year so hopefully they will see that.
My class rank is probably in the top 25 precent of my class. I am president of Future Business Leaders of America, President and founder of the Investment Club, member of Debate team for three years, computer club, graphic design club and have about 30 hours of community service. I will also be on Varsity tennis for the 4th year next year and will be captain of the team (we are the best team on Connecticut). My school is the number 1 highschool on CT and is extremely rigorous. Also, if it helps, I dont need any financial aid from Bucknell.

Thanks everyone for your help.

The 3.3 GPA would be the only negative, but I have news for you: That doesn't decrease your chances that much. Here at Bucknell, as long as you REALLY emphasize that it is your absolute #1 choice (visits, consistent contact with admissions, visiting again, do the 21st century program or something that has you staying overnight, etc.) you have a good chance. Your SAT scores will do, and your senior year needs to rock. Make sure you stay active in all of your clubs, have great recommendations ready, and keep your grades at 3.7 or higher and you should have a good shot. Also, applying Early Decision I or II would significantly increase your chances. I know several people who were accepted with credentials similar to yours...Mine were not that far off from yours (My freshman year sucked), I applied ED II and was accepted. Good luck!

I think your chances are good. As Ambrose^ said, if you really want to attend this school, let it be known.
