| Rice's undergraduate Economics program Does anyone know if Rice University's undergraduate Economics program is good? Is it among the best ones in the nation? |

| Rice University's program is very well-respected.
It's pretty good. Not renowned like those of the larger universities, but it is certainly among the best in the nation. |

| Some LACs have very good Econ departments. All three that you mention do. As do Amherst, Carleton, Claremont McKenna, Haverford, Macalester, Pomona, Swarthmore, Wesleyan and Williams. |

| lol i was very disappointed when i realized that byrn mawr was a women's college, since I thought it was beautiful and wanted to apply there. At least Wesleyan is nice enough to give me and my best friend a chance. |
