| You are being way too optimistic if you expect 50k (equivalent in today's money) with a marketing degree. Marketing and management have historically been the lowest paying business majors and will continue to be. I noticed the highest marketing salary on that list was 70k. That was either due to weird circumstance or more than likely was a sales job (and thus included commissions made). However, MBAs from top business schools get paid quite well to do marketing jobs (ie brand management for example)..not as well as mgt consulting or I-banking but still good.
BTW, I'm not sure why you want to major in accounting if u want to go into marketing. |
