What is a top LAC in the business world, anyway?

As a high school senior who wants to go into consulting, I like the smaller size of an LAC and the one-on-one feel, but do top consulting firms hire often at LACs besides Amherst and Williams- and specifically, which ones?

What are my chances of being hired by a top consulting firm at Haverford or Davidson (assuming my GPA is good)?

In general:
Williams, Amherst, Haverford, Davidson
vs.
Michigan Ross, Northwestern, Non-Wharton Penn, Duke?
Do any of these eight colleges give me a specific edge/or is one specifically worse for consulting than the others?
I know these aren't the only top business schools- unis or LACs- but these are ones I'm thinking of applying to.

Thank you so much for answering this. I feel like I'm overthinking it, as I really like Haverford and Davidson but am worried about job prospects as compared to the other schools.

I know a lot of people who got into consulting with Bain from Northwestern, but that's from my personal experience.

school's reputation should be fine but think about sheer size. LAC v. IVY. the number of graduates from a certain ivy league school each year is like number of kids who graduate from the top 5 LAC combined.

FYI, Haverford and Swarthmore students can take classes at Wharton... I'm not sure how easy that is to do though.

I know know several Haverford alumni at McKinsey (one who joined right out of College and made partner McK also sent him to Harvard Business), Bain, Booz Allen, and other consulting firms.
