IT certifications

I was wondering, anybody know what are some of the best IT certifications for recent graduates of information systems to earn? I've heard A+ and Network are good. Any others? Thanks.

A+ and Network + certifications are vendor-neutral, meaning you won’t be restricted in your career to a single operating system. With an emphasis on the expertise needed to work as a computer service technician, troubleshooting and repairing PCs. I have an MCSE and that has worked well for me. I think that the security field and Cisco are always safe. Start with A+ and Network +, and then go through MCSA/MCSE. MCSE is pretty much MCSA but with 2 more exams. Getting certfications never hurt, many organizations and technical staffing services have found certified technicians to be more productive than their noncertified counterparts.
