Double major: Business Management and Chemistry

hi,
is it fine if i major in both management and chemistry ( or chemical engineering). At first, i wanted to pick only management but some people told me management's just a slight major so it would be much better if i double it with related majors such as finance or accounting.
However, i am not interested in those majors. After thinking twice, I want to work in food chemistry and health care fields in future so I thought Chemistry might be a good major for me.
But in the list of majors for undergraduates, I just saw only chemistry ( esp for LACs and universities use LACs curriculums). I have no idea about the chemistry course at college. Does it teach you to become a chemist or just give you chemistry background????? I want to clear it up since Business Management is my true interest.
does anyone know? pls help me

It is true that you shouldn't major in just management. If business management is your true interest, your best chance at getting a good job in the field is to have finance or accounting experience. That said, if you transfer to a school with chemical engineering you could make good money and go back later for an MBA if you need help transitioning to business. Chemistry is sort of an academic degree rather than a skill, but if you have interest in it, it wouldn't hurt to start with it. Judging by your writing, you might want to transfer somewhere with better English classes, too.

^ The ENGLISH comment was uncalled for! But anyway, management and chemistry are like on completely different paths. You are going to need a LOT of time to take up both.
