bus admin or econ at cal poly?

im really stuck. everyone seems to be majoring in business administration. i want to major in economics because it is a little higher up on the payscale plus i wont be like the other 5,000 freshman in that particular major. however im not a real math genius so i was wondering if anyone had any insight on the two programs at cal poly and which one would be a better fit for me? thank you!

Cal Poly's economics is under college of business. You might want to check out the curriculum to see if it's really math heavy. Everyone is saying it's hard to change major at Cal Poly, but since both are under the same college, call the dean's office to see if it's doable to change between the two. If yes, you can see which fits you better after some low-division courses.

BTW, since your choice of major is driven by the payscale, I suggest you also check out Cal Poly's graduate survey.
