Undergrad Finance - what do i need for Ny CPA?

Hi,

I have an undergrad in Finance and currently work in Accounting. Since I am in a Corporate Accounting position, the CPA would enhance my career towards management.

Should I go back for a MS Accounting, or just get the additional credits at an Undergrad insitution?

Getting the MS Accounting would be costly, I'd have to take the GMAT and apply.

I'm not certain of the requirements to sit for the NY CPA, as it seems unclear. The requirements state 150 credits, but does not specify what the credits should be in.

If I called the NY CPA office would they answer questions and advise what is my cheapest, fastest route to sitting for the CPA exam.

Go to NY state board of accountancy website and look up the education requirements for obtaining the CPA. I just checked it out, and they are very specifically outlined.
