@Nicushor - You must sign a code of ethics when you matriculate at BYU that basically states you will not consume alcohol/caffeine/tobacco on campus or risk being kicked out. This is a bit too strict for some, and for others isn't such a big deal.

Also I can't stress looking at the transfer admission requirements enough. I made the mistake of not planning out my class schedule fresh/soph year so as to be able to transfer to the widest variety of schools possible which has limited my options for transfer for next fall.

Ok, i got it. I will be more focused on the required classes now that you said. What's the problem with caffeine though? :-))

BYU is closely aligned with the Mormon Church which is the assumed explanation behind it.

music management: business/marketing + music degree?

Does anyone know anything about or have any experience with a music management degree? My S wants to go this route. However, when I took a quick look at the handful of schools that have this field of study, the programs seem to be heavily weighted on the music side, eg, auditioning, music theory, conducting, etc. My S does not want to be a performer, but more of like a music event planner.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
